After keeping their silence for months, the CW president Mark Pedowitz finally addressed the current status of the Charmed reboot being developed in the network.

Pedowitz revealed to reporters Wednesday at the TCA summer press tour that the project is currently in "redevelopment," under the supervision of Jane the Virgin creator, Jennie Urman.

It's in redevelopment.

[We're] waiting to see what Jennie Urman wants to come back with. ... It's early in the development process, but we're redeveloping it, and hopefully it will come out.

Starring Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs and Shannen Doherty, the original Charmed series followed the story of three sisters who are good witches. It ran from 1998-2006 on WB.
