tgw_0On Wednesday, the CBS network has renewed a chunk of its primetime programming for the 2013-2104 lineup.

On the comedy block, 2 Broke Girls and Mike and Molly will join the recently picked-up half hour comedies, How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory.

Among the returning dramas, NCIS: Los Angeles, Person of Interest, Elementary, Hawaii Five-0, The Mentalist, Blue Bloods and The Good Wife have been renewed for another season.

On the unscripted front, The Amazing Race, Survivor and Undercover Boss will return with new editions this fall — as well as veteran newsmagazines 60 minutes and 48 hours.

For the case of Two and a Half Men, CBS mentioned that negotiations are still ongoing with Warner Bros. Television for the eleventh season pickup of the sitcom.

Two veteran procedurals Criminal Minds and CSI: New York were not among the renewed series. They both were joined by freshman series, Golden Boy and Vegas. Lastly, Rules of Engagement has not been picked-up as well.

Please note that there still stands a chance for the series on the bubble to get a renewal. The networks usually announce whether a show is renewed or axed during their upfront presentation in May.
