CBS has ordered Vegas and Elementary for a full season, TV Guide reports.
“Vegas and Elementary have opened strong, delivering big audiences and winning performances in important time periods,”
– a statement from Nina Tassler, president of CBS Entertainment.
Vegas, a drama set in the 60′s starring Dennis Quaid, kicked off with nearly 15 million viewers and a 2.5 rating with adults 18-49 in the demo. However, the series was able to fare consistently w/ an average of 14.9 million viewers and a 2.7 rating in the same demo.
However, Lucy Liu’s starring role together w/ Jonny Lee Miller, Elementary, gained better reception since the pilot airing — opening up with 3.1 rating among adults 18-49, receiving 13.4 million viewers. Currently, the modern-day Sherlock is averaging 14.3 million viewers and a 3.5 rating in adults 18-49ers.
