Castle creator and series boss, Andrew Marlowe spoiled about a couple of the “fun” episode ahead in season 5, including a sci-fi convention murder.
“That should be fun, given Nathan [Fillion]’s background and how much of a rock star he is at Comic-Con” — and maybe do a riff on The Office. “We’re thinking about an episode that’s shot documentary-style, where we get one-on-one confessionals with the camera and get to know what people really think about certain things.”
Marlowe also promised fans will see a very “interesting Honeymoon period”.
During which the new couple will feel each other out about how “real” the relationship is. But yes, there will be obstacles — most notably Capt. Gates and that little NYPD rule about partners not being romantically involved.
Castle season 5 premieres with “After the Storm,” on Monday, Sept. 24th.
