Homeland (Showtime)

Courtney Grosbeck (Parenthood) will recur in season 7.

The Affair (The Showtime)

Sanaa Lathan (American Assassin) will recur in season 4.

Lathan will play Jenelle, the tough-as-nails principal of the charter school where Noah (Dominic West) teaches, who intrigues him. She’s got a lot to prove to her school's oppositional administration and faculty, who seem to fight her at every turn.

Law & Order True Crime (NBC)

Harry Haamlin (Mom) has been tapped for a key recurring role.

Hamlin will play Barry Levin, a former LAPD officer turned attorney, who is co-counsel to Edie Falco’s Leslie Abramson during the second trial of Erik Menendez.

Empire (FOX)

Terrell Carter and Rumer Willis have been upped to series regular in the show's current fourth season.

The X-Files (FOX)

Brian Huskey (Veep) will guest star in season 11 as the character of Reggie. Karin Konoval (The Planet of the Apes), meanwhile, will return to play "multiple roles in a rather scary entry in the new season," according to EW.

Bull (CBS)

Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) will guest star in an episode of season 2 slated to air in November.

Panjabi will play Arti Cander, who the drama describes as “a brilliant and resourceful British trial scientist with no shortage of charm.”

S.W.A.T. (CBS)

David Lim has been promoted to series regular in the upcoming CBS drama.

Lim portrays Victor Tan, a relatively new S.W.A.T. officer who made his name in the Hollywood division before advancing to the heights of the LAPD and Metro S.W.A.T.

The Big Bang Theory (CBS)

Bob Newhart will return in season 11 of the hit CBS sitcom.

Newhart is set to reprise his role as the late Arthur Jeffries/Professor Proton during the Nov. 2 episode.

She’ll be playing Harris, the daughter of David (Johnny Galecki) and Darlene (Sara Gilbert).
