Bones has been renewed for a seventh season, but the network and EP Hart Hanson still have a small bump to contend with. Hanson has been spit-balling ideas about what to do during the 6-7 episodes that Emily Deschanel will miss during her maternity leave.

Deadline reports that the veteran show may use this opportunity to promote Hanson’s new ‘Finder’ series with Geoff Stults, Micheal Clarke Duncan and Saffron Burrows. The series was introduced as a back door pilot in episode 19 of Bones. If producers go ahead with their plans it might boost The Finder’s chances of receiving a full season order in Fox’s already busy Fall line-up. What

I wasn’t that impressed with episode 19 of this season. Too much time being spent on explaining the back story of Booth’s old military buddy and not much focus on the actual characters of Bones. But did find Micheal Clark Duncan very fun to watch.  If season 7 has a good storyline focusing on mostly on Dr. Brenann and her pregnancy, and how this will effect her relationship with Booth cause he’s the dad, and very little focus on this new show… then season 7 is going to be just as awsome as season 6. I still can’t believe Booth and Bones are having a baby!!!!
