Oliver’s nemesis will be Vertigo! The character will be very different from the comics — so much so that he’s likely even getting a new name. Vertigo’s superpower — the ability to disorient and unbalance his victims — will also remain intact.
However, he’s not just going to be an effective evildoer, he’s going to be a downright terrifying one. “He will be truly scary and nightmarish,” TVLine’s report reveals, who declares him “Oliver’s deadliest adversary to date.”
In the very first episode Vertigo appears, a deadly new drug will become all the rage in Starling City and the drug will be called Vertigo!
Vertigo will first appear on the show in early 2013.
