90210 Season 3 & Your Thoughts About The Finale

THE FINALE SUCKED!!!! SOOOO DISAPOINTING!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn’t like the season finally either. Didn’t get the answers like we all wanted.

Remember when Matthews was leaving in the car he looked in the school window and saw on 1 window Naomi getting water and other window Mr. Cannon closing the blinds. Even though people might not believe her I think Matthews will be one and only witness, but how reliable since he was wasted? Hopefully this whole thing will make Naomi a better person.

I like that Liam and Annie’s relationship is taking it slow. Silver and Teddy, just stupid who breaks up 10 times in 1 day. So childish.

If Harry leaves, show will probably turn towards “single” mom raising two teenage kids and issues that arise as a single parent. Not bad, since then the show will be able to bring in a new generation of viewers.

It’s funny how Jen said Ryan is a public school teacher, well if they are so loaded why is Naomi in public school then?

I think that writers keep jumping from one story to another….. like Adrianna having a kid and then just boom, she moves on, starts dating bla bla… like nothing ever happened. And Annie’s hit and run, would be better if we know who did it and that person keeping a secret, somebody close to Annie, knowing the truth but letting her keep the blame.

They are jumping from one thing to another, tie the stories together, make it more interesting……

Ok, seriously now- WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?
I didn’t read any of the spoilers so wasn’t expecting the revealment of who killed the homelesss guy, actually i had no idea is wasn’t her until i came on here! (so glad it wasn’t though.. hopefully at some point she’ll be able to live in peace next season?) But as for teddy getting revenge on his dad or confronting him i was expecting as it is stated in the episode description “Teddy discovers that Spence tried to bribe Silver and takes it upon himself to seek revenge in a most confrontational way.” REALLY? I think you missed that bit!!
Ok, now on to the rest of the episode..
Jen is pregnant and ryan is the father: yeah we knew that from the trailer.. no surprises- sooo boring! (And they really dragged on unecessary scenes like the one ryan goes all “devoted father”- on jen, they could have used that time for much better things)
Navid and Ade get back together: This was the only good part of the episode. I’m so glad they got back together but i have to say it, we all knew it would happen and it could have been more romantic. Javier is so annoying- she’s with navid, get the message please! Ade better not go with him on tour or it’ll ruin the whole next season!
Ivy and Dixon: They’re ok, but they have zero chemistry, they’re just bland, no excitement whatsoever when they got back together (no kiss, no romance. nothing). Although I was glad Dixon just left to go to Australia anyway and left his parents to resolve their problems.
Liam and Naomi: We knew this was coming, they had lost all their appeal together and she did deserve it to be honest. End of. Boring.
Liam and Annie: I wanted them to kiss already! I do feel bad for Naomi and i don’t want her to be horrible to annie later or anything but they obviously care about each other- just get on with it! I was soo pissed with Jasper for setting liam’s boat on fire, i thought the writers had gotten over the whole “Jasper’s the little emo who stalks annie” story. However i do think we’ll see the consequences of this in season 3, it looked like liam might even have killed him! we’ll see..
Also I’m glad Annie’s gonna come clean BUT they didn’t show the conversation!?
Silver and Teddy: I’m so glad they got back together but again, very unexciting and predictable. And like i said before- where was teddy’s confrontation with his father?!
Debbie and Harry: Finally some drama, was getting sick of the perfect married couple- not that their drama really affects the show much
Naomi and Mr Cannon: Well this was the only part i didn’t expect! Yeah i knew he would come on to her and stuff but i actually never imagined he would try and rape her! What a fucking creep! It really made me sick, watching that last seen he was like a full on rapist- vile vile vile. Felt soo sorry for naomi especially now when she’s feeling so alone! It’s so hard as well ‘cos literally no one will believe her if she tells! I think we’ll really see the repercussions of this next season, naomi will probably really change, and they’ll probably drag it on until the end when hopefully thanks to mr matthews the truth will come out?

A better ending for me would have been: Teddy confronts his dad and the truth about the hit and run comes out. Annie goes to tell her parents the truth, but just before she does..she finds out that it wasn’t really her that did it so she goes to tell Liam and spends the night with him in his boat- that could still bring controversiality to next season, etc, etc. So no involvement of Jasper and of course Naomi not getting raped! – i think it would have been better to develop a story of them starting to sleep together which could carry on to next season. Oh! and some kind of sign of Harry leaving the show! I know they wanted cliff hangers but it definitely felt unfinished!

Ok, sorry I’m gonna stop ranting now. But overall, very dissapointing.

OMG , didnt it show ryan make fire around the school with the car .. Naomi and mr cannon are in the school ….. !!

Thanks Lynda, at least we got to enjoy it. I still wanted more and some parts they should of left out and added more but I still liked it, cause it left me wanting more so now they know they have me tuned in for next season lol. I kinda of wish I didn’t find this site cause I would of enjoy finding out that Annie really wasn’t the hit and run driver. But they ruined that surprize for me lmfao and I also want them to drag out the whole Annie and Liam thing cause secrets are sometimes fun and I don’t want Annie on Naomi’s bad side. It’s crazy how all Annie friends turn their backs on her when the whole Liam sh!t hit the fan but when they found out the truth the only friend Annie got out of it was Liam everyone else was off doing their own thing, and Silver was mostly with Naomi or Teddy. even her brother didn’t have time for her. Liam is hot anyways I wouldn’t mind having only him in my corner either! Lol. And I hope Naomi’s charecter doesn’t turn into another Annie. I hope they make her stronger so when no one believes her she sets out to make them all believe her by sitting up Mr. Cannon alone. Cause Naomi’s charecter always been a bitch so don’t get soft on us now girl!!! Loving 90210 (è¿é)

Yah when Ryan drove away after hitting the sign there was a trail of fir on the concrete. But I doubt anything will happen with the fire. I bet there will be something on the sign being destroyed and Matthews not wanting to admit it. But other than that I doubt they will burn down West Bev.

yea maybe thats how someone will find naomi coz they wil see a fire and then they could catch mr cannon .

i think the reason it was boring is because there were many spoilers out..so people didn’t get really surprised…it was like the episode was the video version of the spoilers! no answers at all!

@B I think we want Annie and Liam together because it works. People that become friends first tell eachother everything. Just look at Naomi and Liam, he went though so much to get her just to find out that she isn’t the one for him. He knows how Annie is so their will be no secrets. And when he first met Annie he ask her out and you could already tell that he liked her more than Naomi cause Annie is so lay back and Naomi acted like she was too good to be at the bar. So I would love them to put Liam and Annie together. Loving 90210 (è¿é)

@ Lola, nothing’s wrong with being a drug addictedd, lesbian, pregnant teen. Everyone makes mistakes and this is Beverly Hills, where drugs, sex, and alcohol are the “in thing” and you’re probably right, in real life they would never be together, but that’s the beauty of TV shows, you can do what you want to the characters and story.

Oh and one more thing, for the lesbian part, people can’t help who they fall for…even if people want to deny it…

ummm Sarah yeah naomi and liam are meant to be. and yeah if liam/annie actually happen then there probably will be secrets this is 90210 hello there are always secrets. and annie had that stupid running over someone secret for the whole season and she didn’t tell anyone and she only told it to liam because he was telling her all his darkest secrets at the time. how do u know she won’t keep another one? please that girl really needs to just go away she annoys me a lot. she did absolutely nothing this season except whine and cry about her horrible life and then act as if jasper is the bad one even though she is a huge coward. At least Naomi has legit problems. Liam just needs to see that Naomi has her OWN problems to deal with and that she can’t deal with everyone elses until she figures out her own. He wasnt even supportive about Jen coming back. Its not like Naomi can just ignore her; Jen is after all her sister and they have unfinished business to settle.
And Naomi being “too good to be at the bar”, u really misinterpreted Naomi there. She was FLIRTING with Liam, she thought he was cute. She was trying to make a good impression. If she looks like she is staring down her nose thats only a facade. She is actually a nice girl as seen when she pushed Silver to get back with Teddy. That stupid jerk mr. canon took advantage of her lonliness. he better be in jail by the end of season 3.
As others have said, Ryan couldnt have run over the guy because he only started drinking after the Jen mess.
yeah, disappointing finale. they need to stop dragging the whole dead guy run over story and just finish it. its like they cant think of anything new.

the original show’s season finales are 2 hours …and now it’s barely 40 min.s…they can do MUCH BETTER

i really liked the finale … but i expected a little bit more

@jennifer I don’t agreed with you. Everyone does have their problams, doesn’t mean you can push the people you love problams away cause you have your own to deal with. Annie had her own problems to but she still took the time out to listen to his problems. Naomi was being really selfish, she told Liam about all her problems and he listen and when he tried to tell her his problems she never wanted to listen she always made an excuse to run off. I feel if you don’t have time for other people’s problems cause you have your own then don’t get mad when no one has time for your problems. And yea Annie did tell Liam her secret cause he told her one of his but at that point she knew that he trusted her and that she could trust him. And if she trusted him enough to tell him that she killed someone I’m pretty sure she won’t be keeping anymore secrets from him. Cause that was a pretty big secret and you have to really trust someone to bascially put your life in their hands. Cause he could of ran to the cops. So I don’t think she will be keeping anything from him, Unless the writers want to bring problems to their relationship. Other then that I see no point in keeping secrets between them anymore.

she was obviously feeling very vulnerable at the time. if you have a huge secret that is eating you from the inside, then one time or another you will spill that secret to someone. i agree with you in that she did trust liam, but liam is a trustworthy guy out of many she could have deemed trustworthy.
Annie actually never dealt with her problem, she just let it alone until at times when Jasper told her he knew, or when she couldn’t take it anymore (that time when she was talking with Naomi), etc. Dealing with it would mean confessing and making the wrong right. I understand where she is. Killing a person and then admitting it isnt the easiest thing to do but she was drunk and she was being irresponsible. Naomi on the other hand admitted she was wrong with the whole Mr. Canon fiasco in days, making her a more courageous and better person then annie, who took her months to even confess and that was with Liam telling her to do the right thing.
Yes, Naomi is a bit selfish but with the problems she has to deal with (Jen the biggest, Liam breaking up with her, no credit cards/house) who can blame her? Yes, she should have listened to Liam, who does have big problems, but admittedly Liam wasn’t helping her either. He barely comforted her when Jen came back.

I too was extremely disappointed. Who knows maybe Naomi doesn’t get raped… And Annie really did kill Jasper’s Uncle, who knows but I’m starting not to care… This show is TOO SLOW, it’s becoming a soap opera were a simple story last all year. The only thing that surprized me a little is that I think LIAM KILLED JASPER.

Liam finally realized that Naomi had no time for him and he decided that he had no time for her anymore. And amitting to someone that you lied about something and amitting to a murder is to different thing. Naomi made up that lie cause she was mad at the teacher for taking her off the blaze. Amitting that she made it up to began with didn’t get her into trouble but making it up got her rape by him. Annie killed someone. I don’t wanna ever be put in that sitution but I don’t know how I would react to it. She tried to hide it but it was eating her up inside and even though people tell you to do the right thing in the end it is up to you to do the right thing and that takes courage no matter how long you take to say it. Cause you know what they say better late then never. And all that matter’s is that she is doing the right thing in the end nomatter what her consequese are. If they wrapped up everyones story lines then there wouldn’t be a season 3 would there! Also I read the spoilers aswell but it didn’t bother me that certain things weren’t wrapped up if u guys get skins over there?

@ Sarah Errr… Liam didn’t EXACTLY help Naomi dealing with Jen coming back. Telling her to do something she obviously couldn’t easily do and then blaming her for not doing it is not the same as giving advices. How can you ignore your sister, whose sole purpose in this life is to make sure you’re unhappy, who takes away your financial comfort which actually belongs to you, who takes over your home, and who has a history of hurting you deeply in the past??
If you can do that, I salute you, but I personally can’t. As for Liam’s problem, let me just say OMG. There have been times when I needed my friends and they weren’t available when I rang them. But they always got back to me, just like Naomi did. I would not then get mad at them because they weren’t available when I phoned them. People have their own lives and their own problems. It’s very selfish of us to expect them to be there 24/7. And honestly, the many times he saw Naomi, he could’ve told her about his problem. What? He couldn’t get his words out, really? Can you honestly say that if he had said “Naomi, btw, my father came back.” she wouldn’t care??
I thought the writing really sucks. They overexaggerated the self centered-ness of Naomis, when to me, she’s the ONLY person who stays the way she has been throughout the 2 seasons. Annie : sweet>innocent>mean>desperate>bitchy>annoying>sweet>innocent. And go back to the first few episodes of Liam. Can you tell me that he’s still the same person? Blaah… they just tweaked all the characters to fit the sucky storylines.
And btw, Naomi made a mistake but did the right thing in the end. (Did anyone miss the fact that Mr Cannon was the first one who actually brought up the sexual harrasment by saying “Are you offering to have sex with me?”). Annie, although being the sweet innocent person we know she’d be written as, couldn’t have possibly killed a person (How could she? She’s as innocent as an angel!), she thought she did. And yet for months she did nothing, except for burying the secret and finally telling a guy with whom her friend is in love. WOW!

@El! I think 90% of us are mad because the writers promised us a little closure on the hit and run storyline that has lasted ALL season. And they (Trevor Donavon) said it was going to be crazy. The only thing that was moderately crazy was Naomi and Mr Cannon. Absolutely nothing was resolved, and no cliff hangers that made me wanting more. And 80% of the show was irrelevent. Im still gonna watch season 3 for Liam and Annie but thats because im a loyal fan. If I were just a casual viewer i wouldnt be turning into next season based on the finale. 90210 doesnt have a strong enough fanbase to have such a casual finale. And im super pissed that their still going on with the idea that Annie is the killer. After 22 hours of 90210, you’d think they’d reveal what really happened. I don’t know who is writing this show, but i could write better stuff in my sleep.

@holly that is to bad, Naomi couldn’t leave it alone and now she gets to deal with jen. She could of spoke to her father about jen. She know that jen is a bitch and when you knock a bitch down they get right back up. And Liam at least listen to Naomi problems everytime he tried to tell her his problems she blow him off and if you didn’t see that I don’t know what show you was watching. And another thing friends and boyfriends are to different things. When your friends can’t help you out you don’t turn your back on them (yea that is true) but when your boyfriend doesn’t help you out and another guy does you start to get close to them and start getting feelings for them cause at that moment it looks like they care about you more then your boyfriend does. You could tell it in Liam’s face that his feelings for Naomi was leaving and his feelings for Annie was growing. And I don’t care what you say Naomi and Annie aren’t even real friends. Through out almost both of the season’s Naomi was mad at her and they never really got a chance to be good friends. Naomi never trusted Annie after the whole ethan sh!t. And she didn’t even wanna listen to Annie when she tried to tell her that she didn’t sleep with Liam. And that sex video she put up about Annie was so wrong. But Annie is good cause if it was me I would of draged the b!tch all over the f#ckin whole school by her hair and then kicked her ass infront of everybody to let her know that I ain’t one to f#ck with. I love Annie’s charector and I think everyone will to in season 3 when this whole hit and run sh!t is over and everything gets back to normal for her at least. Wish I could say the same for Naomi.

I was only dissapointed with this because I really wanted to know who really hit Jaspers Uncle. It did seem as if they had just cut out scenes that should have been there and used the most boring ones.
Also on the CW website the description for this episode said teddy would confront his father, which was not even included.
Im completely annoyed with the finale anyway.

Dude u guys can all fuck off i love this show and u guys are just tearing it down… the more u tear it down the closer we get from the show being taken off the air and i dont want that at all I WANT 10 seasons like the original! Granted they could have done a better job i do not like how they cut off all the scenes and leave us wondering wtf! But they are only in the 2nd season they will get this shit together soon. They just need to develop characters like brandon walsh and steve sanders. How can u guys not like annie and liam they would be an amazing couple… BRENDA AND DYLAN! haha well guys sarah is right u guys get ur self all siked up for this great finale cuz of the spoilers these people arent right all the time. I have a bunch of friends who are die hard 90210 fans and they do not read spoilers and they loved the episode. The writing is not that bad it is pretty good actually they have a lot of story lines interchanging with good scenes and heart filled scenes just love the show becuase before u know it, it might be off one day !
